Lifestyles Custom Homes & Remodeling, Inc. is a unique kind of remodeling company. We’re passionate about helping people to create the lifestyle they’ve always dreamed of. It takes a special team of designers and craftspeople to achieve this level of remodeling performance.
Lifestyles’ award winning team is comprised of members who have a substantial background in remodeling, as well as new home construction. The team includes Certified Remodelers, and Certified Lead Carpenters. We remain updated on the latest materials and trends in residential design and construction so that we are able to find the best solutions for our clients. All of our team members attend yearly classes to keep abreast of building codes and requirements. We make it our business to remain educated on remodeling issues such as mold and mildew, lead paint, and renewable building materials (Building Green).
The Lifestyles Team
The Lifestyles team consists of Scott Balentine, CR, CLC and Anthony “Buzz” Koeplinger, CR..
Scott handles the sales & estimating requirements of Lifestyles, oversees company performance, and assists in project design. He has been involved in residential construction for over 16 years and has an extensive knowledge in both new home construction and remodeling. Scott achieved his Certified Lead Carpenter certification in 1999 and his Certified Remodeler certification in 2002 through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Scott was the Certified Lead Carpenter class facilitator for Kansas City NARI from 2000 through 2006. Scott also sat on the NARI Board of Directors in 2003 and 2004, served as Vice President of Kansas City NARI in 2005, President in 2006, and Chairman of the Board in 2007. Scott also coordinated and managed Kansas City NARI’s 2007 Community Service Project “Operation Soldier Assist” in conjunction with the Kansas City Chapter of AUSA. This project consisted of remodeling the home of a disabled Iraq war veteran and involved over $150,000 worth of improvements. You can also see Scott in Sunday editions of the Kansas City Star as a contributing writer to the Handyman column in the House & Home section.
Buzz Koeplinger, CR is Lifestyles’ Senior Project Manager. He joined the Lifestyles team in 2004 and has been involved in residential construction and remodeling, HVAC installation, and commercial maintenance for more than 25 years. Buzz’s great personality and extensive knowledge allow him to produce exceptional projects efficiently and professionally. He has received numerous accolades from homeowners for his ability to bring their remodeling projects to a timely completion and eliminate the amount of stress they experience throughout the process.
